Terms of Service
1. Services
Sid ("we," "us," or "our"), operating at sidb.work, provides web scraping, data extraction, data pipeline development, and workflow automation services. All services are provided on a project basis, scoped and priced through individual quotes.
2. Quotes & Pricing
- All quotes are provided free of charge within 2 hours of receiving a project brief.
- Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
- Pricing is based on project scope, complexity, and delivery timeline. Changes to scope may result in adjusted pricing.
- Payment terms are agreed upon before work begins. We accept bank transfer, PayPal, and Wise.
3. Project Delivery
- Delivery timelines are provided with each quote and may vary based on project complexity.
- Data is delivered in the agreed format (CSV, JSON, Google Sheets, API, database, or other).
- Each project includes one round of revisions. Additional revisions may be scoped separately.
- We deliver clean, validated, and deduplicated data unless otherwise specified.
4. Data & Compliance
- We only extract publicly available data — information accessible to any user in a standard web browser.
- We comply with applicable data protection laws including GDPR where relevant.
- We respect robots.txt directives and platform terms of service.
- You are responsible for ensuring your intended use of the extracted data complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
- We do not extract personal data (emails, phone numbers, etc.) without a legitimate business purpose.
5. Confidentiality
All project details, deliverables, and client information are treated as confidential. We are happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) upon request before any work begins. We do not share client names, project details, or data with third parties without explicit written consent.
6. Intellectual Property
- All extracted data belongs to you upon full payment.
- Custom scrapers, scripts, and automation tools developed for your project are delivered as part of the project scope when agreed upon.
- We retain the right to reuse general techniques, methods, and non-proprietary code across projects.
7. Recurring Services
- Recurring delivery subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled with 30 days written notice.
- We monitor and maintain scrapers for the duration of the subscription, including handling website layout changes.
- Delivery frequency (daily, weekly, monthly) is agreed upon at project start.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided "as is." While we strive for accuracy and reliability, we cannot guarantee that extracted data will be 100% complete or error-free due to the nature of web scraping (website changes, anti-bot measures, etc.). Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific project in question.
9. Refunds
If we are unable to deliver the agreed-upon data, you will receive a full refund. Partial deliveries may be eligible for partial refunds, determined on a case-by-case basis. Refund requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate a project with written notice. If you terminate after work has begun, payment is due for work completed up to the termination date. We reserve the right to terminate a project if it involves illegal activity or violates these terms.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
